They don't have the menu in english. But you can use their wifi to translate the menu. Owners were really welcoming Highly recommend the soymilk soup. The meal is light, packed with veggies and the broth was flavorful and so satisfying.

One of the best gyoza I’ve had in Japan, the home cooked elements of this hearty restaurant added a level to our meal that can’t be matched.

Good food with at lot of care. I had the best miso soup in Japan here. Modern restaurant with a terrace. Good for light dining in the summer.

We wanna a pot with soy milk but no pots available at the moment. But I decided another cuisine and surprisingly it was also very nice and healthy food.

What the lovely couple offer is fine art of cooking, without the need to be pretentious or aloof. Their food is inspirational, straightforward and honest. I was there twice for dinner and it was twice a pleasure. Dankeschön.

Great place for a healthy meal. The menu for meals is quite limited (only 2 different kind of sets—one sukiyaki, one steamed), but each gives you a diverse and yummy spread. Feels very much like home cooking—light and healthy and reasonably priced. Great to accompany a “detoxing” environment if you’re in Arima for onsen. (Of course you are!) We didn’t have a reservation so we had to sit outside, but essentially when another group left, we were seated inside for our meal, which was very nice. They also have an extensive alcohol menu if you’re into that. (We are not, so can’t speak on that.) Definitely be sure to get the sukiyaki set so you can have the rice in the soup bowl “risotto” style. It was a very nice touch.

While all the restaurants have long wait, we came by this place in a quiet street up in the terrace. It has a nice patio view to enjoy outdoor dining. We ordered both the steam course meal and the soy bean hotpot meal. The soy bean hot pot is the best. You can add a cheese rice for 220yen after you finish the hotpot. For big eater you probably want to double up the meat.

We had one of the most authentic Japanese dinners here! I found this place on Google Maps and noticed it had vegetarian options so I booked it by directly messaging them on Instagram (with japanese translation).
